Exchange Controls

Restrictions on inward funds to be repatriated. Customers are obliged to provide details for balance of payments (BOP) reporting for all inward funds. 50% of export proceeds received are to be converted. Central bank approval required for loans. Non-current transactions related to inward bank guarantees require central bank approval. Outward advance payments require documents to be submitted to the central bank within 90 days after payments (exceptions apply).
