Opening a Business Account:

Documentary requirements and general information

All types of legal entities
  • Original signed application form
  • Original signed signature card
  • Certified copies of valid passports for the signatories and the directors
  • Proof of residential address for signatories and directors (documents must be not more than three months old) (original or certified copy)
  • Two passport photos for each signatory
  • Proof of business address.

All documents needs to either be originals or certified copies unless otherwise stated

Foreign companies
  • No banking facilities
  • All foreign companies are required to register their entities at the local registrar prior to engaging the bank with banking facilities
  • Exceptions may be allowed for a maximum banking allowance of 30 days where such reputable companies are already engaging in the process, and this will be subject to the normal country compliance approval.
